- Helensview is part of the Multnomah Education Service District
- Helensview enrolls youth ages 12 to 21 from any school district in Multnomah County
- Helensview enrolls approximately 200-250 students each school year
Who is Helensview?
- Students seeking dual credits from community colleges while earning a high school diploma
- Students seeking CTE career and technical education credits in the areas of Construction/ Manufacturing, Music Production and Making, Culinary Arts, Early Childhood Education or CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant).
- Students that are seeking to build career experience in the field prior to graduation in order to enter the job field of their choice with an advantage
- Students that have dropped out of school for a variety of reasons
- Students that are pregnant and/or parenting
- Students that have been suspended or expelled for any reason
- Students on parole or probation
- Students that are behind in their credits
- Students that have given up on school and have dropped out or are considering dropping out
- Students that might need special behavioral or academic help

- An accredited diploma that meets state educational standards
- Curriculum that is at a student's level, that challenges him/her, but not so much that frustration and failure set in
- Dual Credit in college while students continue to earn high school credit
