• ½ûÂþÌìÌà Teen Parent Services Program in Partnership with Albina Early Head Start & Neighborhood House Head Start  

    Albina Early Head Start and Neighborhood House Head Start provide onsite childcare for ½ûÂþÌìÌà teen parent students. Child Care Centers are located at Franklin, McDaniel, Grant, Roosevelt, hayu aLqui uyxat and Lincoln HS. Teen Parent Child Care Centers care for infants and toddlers from ages 6 weeks to 3 years of age. Teen Parent students that utilize child care are able to remove the barrier to attendance, and have the opportunity to participate in after-school tutoring. Albina Early Head Start Child Care Centers operate throughout the year aligned to the Portland Public School district's calendar. Hours of operation are from 7:00 am -4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

    Neighborhood House’s Head Start programs provide an opportunity for young children to learn, grow, and thrive. Neighborhood House's Head Start early childhood programs serve children and families in SW and NW Multnomah County. They help to prepare children for school by providing age-appropriate learning opportunities that ensure they enter kindergarten ready to learn.

    They strive to support individual family growth and independence. They focus on parents as teachers, helping families to be successful in supporting their children’s overall development.
