Hereford House provides many types of support, including food, clothes (jeans, shoes, and coats or jackets), blankets, personal care items (soap, bathroom supplies), a kind word, and hot coffee.

Meals4Kids: Meals On Wheels

The Meals 4 Kids program serves qualified children and families within the city of Portland experiencing food insecurity who are also experiencing any of the following:
- Chronic condition or illness of a caregiver or child
- Lack of facility to prepare meals
- Lack of ability and/or transportation to access food resources such as food pantries
- Other barriers impacting access to food resources and/or the ability to prepare meals
The Meals 4 Kids home delivery program delivers nutritious meals, milk, bread, and fresh fruit directly to the homes of families in need each week on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

All current Jefferson High School students can access free breakfast and lunch in the school cafeteria. No application is required.

You’ll find a variety of foods, and you select the items you prefer for your own household. We are not like a food pantry, where items might be chosen for you and offered in a pre-packed box. St Johns Food Share has refrigerated items too! Our warehouse offers safe storage of food in both freezers and refrigerators. Our members can save hundreds of dollars a month on food, easing the strain on overall monthly budgets.
