Through Multiple Pathways to Graduation (MPG), the ½ûÂþÌìÌà Strategic Plan and Graduate Portrait come to life. The district is committed to providing an appropriate learning environment for all students. Multiple Pathways to Graduation supports this, serving students in Pre-K to age 21, and children of Teen Parents at six weeks. Multiple Pathways to Graduation is comprised of both schools and districtwide programs.

The district’s largest credit recovery program, Portland Evening and Summer Scholars provides opportunities for high school students to receive core credit required for high school graduation. Evening Scholars, often referred to as “night school” provides evening programming during both first and second semester. Summer Acceleration Academy
Four week supplemental academic summer program for rising 1st - 8th grade students addressing unfinished grade level instruction in reading and math, as well as hands-on STEAM learning and knowledge building (learn more on page 49).
Virtual Scholars
Virtual credit recovery in ½ûÂþÌìÌà high schools, along with credit by exam and non-½ûÂþÌìÌà virtual credit recovery
