What Is the Graduate Portrait?
The ½ûÂþÌìÌà Graduate Portrait is an ambitious description of what our community wants its students to know, be, and be able to do, in order to prepare them to thrive in their lives and careers. Our Graduate Portrait includes the many and varied attributes needed to prepare students to engage meaningfully with the world and work to change systems that perpetuate racial injustice and oppression. The Graduate Portrait contains a total of 9 elements.

What Is the Developmental Continuum?
The is a roadmap that guides students in their journey through ½ûÂþÌìÌà towards achieving the Graduate Portrait. The continuum includes a series of “I” statements that capture a student’s progress towards a specific Graduate Portrait element and is designed to be student and family-facing, as well as a tool for educators.
The continuum also makes connections with the , which sets the vision for teaching and learning in ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ.
