• Kindergarten Ramp Up

     

     

    Kindergarten Ramp Up supports the transition of each student into kindergarten. This takes place in two ways. First, each family is invited to a 30-minute 1:1 welcome conversation at Beach on August 27th or 28th. Your child's classroom teacher will reach out to you to get these scheduled through Sign-Up Genius during the week of August 19th.

     

    Second, each kindergartner is scheduled to attend school for a practice day on either 8/29 or 8/30 from 8:00am-2:30pm (half the class attends at the same time). This provides them time in a smaller class setting to practice school routines, build their confidence and for us to get to know each other. All kindergarten students begin together on Tuesday, September 3rd.

     

    We have assigned students to a specific day to maximize individual support and learning. If it is possible for us to accommodate a date switch, we will do so. Please contact the main office if you have a unique situation that would be supported by a change in date.

     

    Students with last names beginning with A-M are scheduled to attend a practice day on Thursday, 8/29 from 8:00-2:30.

     

    Students with last names beginning with N-Z are scheduled to attend a practice day on Friday, 8/30 from 8:00-2:30.
