I am an Oregonian that loves the green that our beautiful state has to offer. I graduated from Springfield High and moved next door to Eugene for college. A Duck at heart, I did my undergraduate work at the University of Oregon. I am also a Badger (less so in theory and practice) as I did my graduate work at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. I have spent time away from Oregon for research, school, and change of lifestyle, but Oregon always had more to offer than those other places for me.
My career in counseling started in mental health, and I moved to School Counseling in 2001 when I joined the team at Lincoln High. After five years there I married, had two children and moved on to work with students in other schools part-time. Having spent many years in ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ, I have worked with students in all age groups at all levels (K-12).
During my free time I enjoy time with my family playing games, taking walks, watching sports on TV and spending time with relatives. I have two children currently in high school who keep my husband and I on our toes with sports (soccer, taekwondo, swimming, and track & field) and other activities. In addition, I take time alone to read, workout, garden, bake treats, watch my favorite mysteries, and relax.
Education:
Masters in Counseling Education, University of Wisconsin in Madison, 1996
Bachelors of Arts, Psychology & Ethnic Studies, University of Oregon 1993
