How to Apply
More than 1,800 students in grades K-12 are enrolled in 14 programs across the district. All students must apply for entry through the annual ½ûÂþÌìÌà lottery. Each Spanish Immersion program is co-located with a neighborhood school, and reserves some spaces for students who live in that school’s attendance zone.A list of spaces by grade, neighborhood and language is available during the lottery cycle at every program and through the Enrollment & Transfer Center. For grades 2 and above, space is open only to replace students who have exited the program, and a language proficiency test is required.
