The Odyssey Program
The Odyssey Program is part of ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ. We are a History Focus Option Program.

Our 678 Middle School Information Night happened on November 19th 2024
Our K-5 Information Night was on February 5th, 2025.
There will not be another Information Night for the 25-26 lottery. We do not provide individual tours. Please see this website for information about our program. Call our office at 503-916-6310 if you have additional questions.

How to Apply for the Lottery
Submit a lottery application:
Parents of Kindergartners or Any Grade New To ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ:
1. Create a ParentVUE account
2. Submit a lottery application
2. Please wait until after you receive your lottery result in May before completing the online Registration for your child. (Also via ParentVue)

Attending a school outside your neighborhood:
½ûÂþÌìÌà offers a petition process for students who wish to attend a school outside their neighborhood. Learn more. ½ûÂþÌìÌà also holds a lottery every February/March for the following school year for schools/programs accessed via lottery. Learn more.Learn about services, options:

- Register at your neighborhood school. If language assistance is needed, register at a Welcome Center (Link) in August. Centers also assess students English language level.
- ½ûÂþÌìÌà encourages families with concerns about their child's development under age 5 to get an assessment for special education services. Call the Multnomah Early Childhood Program, 503-261-5535, for a referral to the ½ûÂþÌìÌà Early Childhood Evaluation Team. Contact the ½ûÂþÌìÌà Team directly if you have questions: 503-916-3426. (English/Spanish).
- Families concerned about their school-age child's academic, motor, self-help, communication or social-emotional skills should talk to their child's teacher about an assessment for services. If you have questions, contact your principal.
- Students K-12 are first nominated by their teacher or parent/guardian and then assessed by ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ. If the student meets the criteria, he or she is selected to participate in the program.
