Volunteer Opportunities at Rosa Parks
Volunteers play a vital role in the education of our students. We thank them for the many, many hours they dedicate to our program. Please consider assisting with many important non-teaching tasks, including:
- Fieldtrip supervision
- Breakfast service
- Lunch service
- Picture day
- Recess supervision
Please also consider volunteering in the classroom. Please remember: volunteering in your child’s class is not a convenient time for teacher conferences. Teachers are available before or after school by appointment only. Thank you.
How to Volunteer
If you are interested in being a volunteer at Rosa Parks or specifically in your child’s classroom, please stop by the front office to complete a brief volunteer information form. You may also contact Kevin Walker by calling 503-916-6250.
Volunteer Application Forms
½ûÂþÌìÌà Application Form to volunteer is required for all ½ûÂþÌìÌà volunteers. Click the link below to fill out an application.
A ½ûÂþÌìÌà is also required for all ½ûÂþÌìÌà volunteers who work directly with students. Read more information about volunteering in ½ûÂþÌìÌà here.
Volunteer Code of Conduct Form
If your background check has been cleaned, you will need to sign the Volunteer Code of Conduct form and meet with either Ms. Newsome or Mr. Walker before beginning your volunteer assignment. You can either print the form here or pick up one in the main office. Thank you.
