• Excused Absences – Franklin High School

    Excused Absences: Only absences due to student illness, appointments, religious holidays, or a death in the family are considered excused.

    Reporting an Absence:

    • Parents/guardians must notify the school within three (3) days via email, phone call, or a signed note.
    • If submitting a note, include:
      • Date
      • Student’s full name & ID number
      • Reason & date(s) of absence
      • Parent/guardian signature & phone number

    Important:

    • Students 18 and older cannot excuse their own absences unless legally emancipated with court documentation.
