½ûÂþÌìÌà District Student Council

The District Student Council's (DSC) Mission is to elevate and unify student voice within the district, increase student involvement, and facilitate collaboration and interaction between various ½ûÂþÌìÌà student groups and ½ûÂþÌìÌà leadership. The DSC is made up of ½ûÂþÌìÌà high school students who meet bi-weekly at the Prophet Education Center (PEC) prior to ½ûÂþÌìÌà Board of Education meetings. 

JJ Kunsevi serves as the active Student Representative on the Board of Education elected body for the 2024-2025 academic year. JJ Kunsevi also coordinates and leads the District Student Council throughout the school year.

The core functions of ½ûÂþÌìÌà Student Council include: 

• Elevate and leverage student input on school and district issues to ½ûÂþÌìÌà leadership.
• Incorporate student perspectives in board meetings and policy, in support of the Student Board of Education Representative.
• Host Annual District Student Council Student Summit.
