Welcome to our school’s Child Care webpage! Below, you will find details on the organization that offers child care to our school community. If you are interested in before- and after-school care, please use the contact information below. The district Child Care team is working closely with ½ûÂþÌìÌà Licensed Child Care partners to increase availability this 2021-22 school year. Due to Covid-19, programs and schools have limited capacity to offer space for child care programming. For more information on child care sites and programs, visit the ½ûÂþÌìÌà Child Care website. Camp Fire Columbia’s Before & After School programs offer youth, 5-12 years old safe, inclusive programming where they connect with their peers, community, and the world around them. Program staff thoughtfully design and deliver schedules and activities that are responsive to the larger group’s needs and specific to each young person’s unique character. We believe that young people want to shape the world. Camp Fire provides the opportunity to find their spark, lift their voice, and discover who they are.

Camp Fire offers before and after school child care:  5 days a week, ½ûÂþÌìÌà late opening days, plus in-service and break days! 

Much more than just a fun place to hang out, Camp Fire extends the learning day and immerses kids in enriching experiences that are exciting, educational, and helps each child discover their interests, and develop their talents.

In addition to our regular care packages, we will be offering some special program rate options to serve families who just need a bit of extra coverage on SUN program days until 6pm. Adjustments to our rate sheet are posted on our web site, or available upon request. We also work with the Employment Related Day Care (ERDC) program through DHS, plus offer financial aid on a sliding scale.

Camp Fire Columbia at Peninsula Elementary

Camp Fire ofrece cuidado de niños antes y después de la escuela: 5 días a la semana, los días de apertura
tarde de ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ, ¡además de los días de servicio y de receso!

Mucho más que un lugar divertido para pasar el rato, Camp Fire extiende el día de aprendizaje y sumerge a
los niños en experiencias enriquecedoras que son emocionantes, educativas y ayudan a cada niño(a) a
descubrir sus intereses y desarrollar sus talentos.

Además de nuestros paquetes de cuidado regulares, ofreceremos algunas opciones de tarifas de
programas especiales para servir a las familias que sólo necesitan un poco de cobertura extra en los días
del programa SUN hasta las 6 de la tarde. Los ajustes a nuestra hoja de tarifas se publican en nuestro sitio
web, o están disponibles a su petición. También trabajamos con el programa de Cuidado de Día
Relacionado con el Empleo (ERDC) a través de DHS, también ofrecemos ayuda financiera en una escala
móvil.
